Welcome to Pixel Witch Designs, a small Western Australian studio where every beanie is knitted one stitch at a time, by hand, with a lot of love and a few cups of tea… and a lot of wine.

I’m Amanda, the witch behind the pixels. By day I run a digital marketing studio, all screens, deadlines and strategy. By night (and most weekends), I swap the laptop for knitting needles and lose myself in something a lot slower and a lot more satisfying, creating cosy, one-of-a-kind pieces.

Knitting has always been my quiet place. There is something a little bit magical about turning a simple ball of yarn into something warm, wearable and entirely unique, and that is exactly what Pixel Witch Designs is built around. Every beanie you see here has been thought through, tested and made by me, right here in Perth.

In a world of fast fashion and mass production, there is real value in something made slowly and made well. Each Pixel Witch beanie is crafted using quality yarn, chosen for warmth, softness and the way it holds its shape over time. No two pieces are ever identical, and that is part of the charm. When you choose handmade, you are choosing something with a story, made by an actual person rather than a machine on a production line.
